This report highlights a month of impactful science education outreach by River Flow International, with a major focus on the successful hands-on training of 190 primary school teachers in Pader District. The initiative aimed to strengthen practical science teaching through the effective use of the New Approach Primary Science Kits, transforming classroom learning from theory-based instruction to interactive experimentation. Teachers gained confidence in delivering learner-centered lessons through guided demonstrations, peer learning, and real-life experiments, while schools across Uganda increasingly embraced mini-laboratories to make science more engaging, practical, and accessible for learners. The newsletter further showcases River Flow International’s growing commitment to empowering teachers, inspiring curiosity among learners, and advancing experiential science education in underserved communities across Uganda.
