Collaboration Is at the Heart of Our Impact
We’re proud to partner with education stakeholders to deliver services we can be proud of.
We work with governments, institutions, NGOs, and the private sector to scale transformative science education across Africa.
Proven Impact, Continental Reach
At RIFI, we promise our partners tangible results and lasting educational change. Our evidence-based approach—validated across 200+ Ugandan schools—ensures that every collaboration delivers real impact. We make this promise with confidence because our work is built on what works.
Our programs are designed to meet and exceed the highest benchmarks in education quality, gender inclusion, and sustainable development. We align with African Union frameworks, national education policies, and global development goals ensuring relevance and compliance at every level. With a growing network across Africa, we build meaningful partnerships with governments, schools, NGOs, and communities. Together, we deliver: better-equipped teachers, engaged students, and science education that transforms lives and accelerates development.

Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES), Uganda
RIFI was officially launched in 2017 by Uganda’s Minister of State for Primary Education and works closely with the Ministry of Education and Sports to develop and publish learning materials that emphasize practical, hands-on skills for lifelong learning. Our programs support the national Uganda Science Education Policy (2005) and the Secondary Science and Mathematics Teachers (SESEMAT) Programme.

African Union’s Continental Education Strategy for Africa (CESA)
RIFI’s strategic plan is aligned with the African Union’s CESA, which aims to reorient Africa’s education systems to meet knowledge, competency, and innovation requirements for sustainable development. Our work supports CESA’s key objectives, including revitalizing the teaching profession and strengthening science and math curricula across the continent.

Science Teachers and Innovators Africa (STIA)
RIFI operates as a principal family member of STIA, an organization ambitious to become one of Africa’s largest international NGOs. We collaborate with STIA’s nationally registered chapters and draw membership from locally-established science teachers to inspire educators and learners across different regions.

Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education)
RIFI’s strategic plan is designed to complement and advance Sustainable Development Goal 4, aiming to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Our initiatives focus on enhancing science literacy, teacher capacity, and learner outcomes in line with global education targets.

How we work with our partners
At RIFI, we engage with our partners on the foundation of mutual respect and shared commitment the same principles that guide our internal culture. We believe that transformative collaboration requires a deliberate and equitable balance between contribution and benefit. We pride ourselves on cultivating partnerships where this harmony allows relationships and impact to flourish to their full potential, driving sustainable change for Africa’s learners and communities.
