Frequently Asked Questions

Riverflow International is a Uganda-based social enterprise dedicated to enhancing the quality of education in Africa, particularly in science teaching and learning, through the provision of practical materials, teacher training, and advocacy.

Riverflow International’s core mission is to promote the application of scientific knowledge and skills in addressing socio-economic challenges through high-quality education, practical learning, and innovation.

Riverflow International works with teachers, education specialists, government entities like the Ministry of Education and Sports, NGOs, and school communities to strengthen education systems.

Riverflow International’s major programs include practical science kits for schools, teacher retooling workshops, literacy and numeracy promotion, competence-based education, ICT integration, and youth skills training.

Riverflow International emphasizes hands-on, learner-centered education by combining practical science kits, teacher retooling, and real-world problem-solving. This approach helps learners develop critical thinking, creativity, and applicable skills rather than relying solely on rote learning.

Riverflow International has helped transform classrooms into interactive learning environments, with hands-on science kits and teacher training that encourage learners to experiment and engage with concepts rather than just memorize them.

While primarily focused in Uganda, Riverflow International has expanded its influence regionally through partnerships and collaborations; we currently have engagement in neighboring countries in East Africa to support education quality rollout.
