Training Report, March 2025
This report summarizes a March 2025 training for 204 primary science teachers in Kole and Lira Districts on using New Approach Primary Science Kits. Key findings show that 99% of teachers have access to kits, 95% find them effective, and 94% observed improved learner performance and confidence. Post-training, 74% of teachers felt confident using the kits, and 100% agreed the skills would help them facilitate hands-on lessons. The results highlight the kits’ success in making science practical and learner-centered, while also revealing a strong demand for more in-depth and frequent training sessions to sustain and deepen this impact.
