Training Report, June 2025
This report details a June 2025 training for 38 science teachers in Kagadi District on using New Approach Primary Science Kits. The one-day session focused on practical skills for using kit components like microscopes and human body models. Outcomes show the training was highly effective, with 100% of teachers finding the content relevant and 92% feeling confident in using and integrating the kits into their lesson plans. The session successfully equipped teachers to transition from theoretical to hands-on science instruction, while recommendations called for regular refresher courses and more kits to accommodate large class sizes.
